We are very excited to announce that we now have a delicious and healthy single source Organic Ceremonial Cacao available at The Gathered Bowl.
Ceremonial cacao is minimally processed & nutrient rich. It can be consumed mindfully with an intention for grounding & personal reflection, for health or just because it’s delicious! Our single source ‘criollo’ cacao is cultivated sustainably in the Amazon region of Peru in it’s native environment. Our cacao makes a highly nutritious & delicious chocolate drink which is a great alternative to coffee.
Instructions
Blender
Heat (Do Not Boil) 1 cup of water or milk of choice (oat, almond & coconut all work well). Add milk to heatproof blender with 1-2 tablespoons of cacao and blend until smooth. Add sweetener (we reccommend honey, maple syrup or agave) & spices if desired. Find a peaceful space, set your daily intentions & Enjoy!!
Stove Top
You can also add all of the above ingredients to a saucepan and heat on the stovetop while whisking. Do Not Boil! Enjoy when cacao has dissolved.
